English Chain Direct is the internet trading site of English Chain Company Ltd and offers a small selection of our complete product range.

Since our foundation in 1923 our company has grown out of all recognition from its early beginnings over 90 years ago in London.  We have continually expanded our range of chains and associated products to meet the needs of our extensive  customer base and for many years we have been leading Chain Suppliers to many markets – from the domestic hardware, DIY, lighting, plumbing and construction industries to government departments, public authorities, general engineering, materials handling, marine and security applications to name a few.

A major expansion took place when our Godalming warehouse opened in 1988 and is now our Head Office.
