English Chain Direct is the internet trading site of English Chain Company Ltd and offers a selection of our complete product range.

Since our foundation in 1923 our company has grown out of all recognition from its early beginnings over 100 years ago in London.  We have continually expanded our range of Chains, Rope, and Associated products to meet the needs of our extensive customer base and for many years we have been leading Chain Suppliers to many markets – from the domestic hardware, DIY, lighting, plumbing and construction industries to government departments, public authorities, general engineering, materials handling, international television and film studios, marine and security applications to name a few.

A major expansion took place when we moved from our Godalming warehouse to our new warehouse and distribution centre in Petersfield, Hampshire in April 2019, which is now our Head Office.
