Strong fixing points / anchor points complete your security installation, and are an essential part of your anti-theft precautions.

Our steel wall ring is case hardened, which make it highly resistant to hacksaws and bolt cutters, and has both counter sunk holes and flat holes, for either wood screws or bolts.

As both floor anchor points and wall anchor points, this fitting's dual-purpose design is what sets it apart from single-application alternatives. When used as a floor anchor point - bolted flat to a concrete garage floor, workshop base, or hardstanding - the ring sits flush and low, keeping the chain close to the ground and leaving minimal slack for an attacker to work with. Set into concrete using appropriate masonry fixings at the specified torque, it creates a permanent, tamper-resistant anchor that is integral to the structure rather than an add-on to it. This is the configuration most commonly used for motorcycle security in domestic garages, equine tethering in yard settings, and equipment anchoring in commercial and industrial workshops.

When mounted vertically as wall anchor points - fixed to a garage wall, outbuilding interior, timber post, or masonry surface - the ring projects outward at a height that allows chain to be looped through without the need to route it along the floor first. Wall anchor points at mid or low height are particularly effective for securing motorcycles, bicycles, and smaller powered vehicles alongside a wall rather than in the centre of a space, freeing up floor area while maintaining a strong, fixed connection point. The countersunk hole option allows the fixing screws or bolts to sit flush with the plate surface, reducing the purchase available for any tool attempting to lever the plate away from the substrate.

Ground And Wall Anchor point  80mm - each

What material is this anchor made from, and how resistant is it to tampering?

It's constructed from case-hardened steel, which is highly resistant to hacksaws and bolt cutters. This makes it a strong, durable fixing point for security installations. The steel's hardness ensures it can withstand forced attempts to cut or break it.

Can I use this anchor both on the ground and on a wall?

Yes, it's designed for dual-purpose use—as a floor anchor bolted to concrete or a wall anchor mounted vertically. On floors, the ring sits flush to keep chains low, and on walls, it projects outward for easy chain looping. This flexibility suits various setups like garages or workshops.

How do I install this anchor, and what fixings are needed?

Installation requires appropriate masonry fixings for concrete or wood screws/bolts for other surfaces. The anchor has counter sunk and flat holes to allow flush mounting with the right tools. Ensure you use the specified torque for a secure, tamper-resistant fit.

Is this anchor suitable for securing motorcycles or bicycles?

Absolutely, it's commonly used for motorcycle security in garages and for bicycles when wall-mounted. The design minimizes slack when floor-mounted and saves space by allowing wall placement. It's also ideal for equine tethering and anchoring equipment in workshops.

What size is this anchor, and are other sizes available?

This specific anchor is 80mm, as per the product code A. The description mentions specifications for all sizes, so for bulk orders or other sizes, contact us directly for price and availability. This helps ensure you get the right size for your security needs.
